杨晓柯校长毕业致辞

As we approach the end of an other wonderful school year in Admiral Farragut Academy TJ, we celebrate all that great memories we had and so many success is that we as a community have received.

This year we graduated 43 students from the AFA diploma program, five students from canadian OSSD program and 14 students from our A-LEVEL programme.

Together our graduates received 339 admission offers from 113 universities around the world along with 197,337 Dollars in academic scholarships. The Intelligence and talents of ours Grade 12 students are well proven by the glorious college placement results as they got accepted by Top institutions such as university of California berkeley, university of florida, university of toronto university college of London, just to name a few.

Our students' successes are the results of the hard work from our faculty and staff. Despite the challenges we face during COVID- 19, all our faculty and staff are dedicated to make our school a safe and healthy place for students. Over the summer, we leased and renovated a second building to ensure that we have enough space to keep safe distances in classrooms and offices. At the same time, we were also able to triple the space of our courtyard between the two buildings to ensure our students have enough outdoor space as well.Before students return on campus, we stocked plenty of personal protective equipment such as masks and isolation gowns, gloves and goggles in our schools clinic and also make sure that hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes are easily accessible all over campus.

While we put the safety of our students as the Top priority, we never stop challenging them academically by continuously delivering high-quality learning inside and outside of the classroom. Using apps such as Zooms and Tencent Meeting, we were able to reach our students even if they are temporarily stranded overseas so nobody is left behind.This year, we were able to raise the average GPA of our entire school by 12%. More students received high scores in standardized tests than ever before. Five more new AP courses are offered across Grade 10 to 12 and our students can take AP exams in our school beginning next spring. Thanks to the great success in our school's Cognia accreditation this year with a score of 378.5 out of 400, our school received the highest score ever among all Cognia-accredited schools in China, a Top 50 score globally. This result demonstrates the commitment and effectiveness of our school community.My respect and gratitude go out to all stakeholders who have participated in accreditation process.

Looking into the future,we are a young school that still has a long way to go. We seek better practices and constant improvement every day. We thank our parents and students for their trust and support. Collectively,we can make our school one of the most reputable schools in China. When that day comes, which I think won't be far away, I look forward to welcoming all of our alumni to return to campus and celebrate with us.

寇舒茗同学毕业致辞

敬爱的老师，亲爱的同学们，大家上午好。

今天有很多重要的嘉宾来到现场，欢迎你们，非常感谢你们的到来。

我是寇舒茗，很荣幸能够站在这里，代表2021届毕业生发言。这是我们人生中最重要的时刻之一，我们只有一次高中，也只有这一次高中毕业典礼。

首先，我们要把最真诚的感谢送给我们的父母和老师们。我们永远不会忘记你们为我们所做的一切，我们将永远感激你们。

今天是我高中的最后一天，距离我来AFA天已经过去三年了。要说我在这段时光中得到了什么，那应该是一颗勇于挑战的心。

个挑战来自于改变。2018年，我从枫叶来到了法拉古特，发现这里的一切和之前都截然不同。每个班级只有十几个学生，这是我最喜欢的点，小班教学。每个人都得到了老师们充分的关注，从而更加精进自己的学习之旅。没有老师推着学生走，同学之前也有没有激烈的竞争。一切都由我们自己决定，我开始思考我该做什么。

第二个挑战来自于学习。虽然我们和公立学校有着不同的系统，但我们还是面临着高强度的学习。十年级的个学期，我们被要求背一整本托福词汇书。每天中午我们都要默写，这项传统持续了一年多。面对托福，SAT, AP, 学校课程等压力，我们咬紧牙关，废寝忘食，不惜一切代价，终于我们的坚持兑换成了优异的成绩。

第三个挑战来自于活动。我非常感谢学校能提供这样一个平台，让学生们展示他们的能力。十年级下学期，我被委以合唱团团长的重任，学校的这份信任也让我受益匪浅。在这几年的管理中，我学会了合作沟通，学会了人员分配，学会了有效管理，学会了鼓起勇气发言，学会了及时处理问题，更学会了作为一个领导者所肩负的责任。感谢学校给我的这个机会，感谢老师的信任与支持，感谢为此辛苦付出的合唱团员们，谢谢大家。

第四个挑战来自于梦想。自从在十年级的大学展对瑞士洛桑酒店管理学院一见钟情后，我便意识到了我将面临的来自多方面的挑战。为了达到标化要求，我前前后后报了好几场SAT，最终还是被疫情限制在了国内。后来又学习ACT, AP等。终于还是成功于5月份前往新加坡考到了SAT，刚刚结束隔离。对于梦想，在努力的不止我一个，还有留学规划的老师们。他们不辞辛苦，不分日夜的帮助我们奔赴梦想，为迷茫的我们照亮前方的道路。无论学生有什么样的问题，老师们总会用尽方法帮助我们解决。从essay到interview，从选校到申请签证，每一件事都是在老师们的帮助和指导下完成的。升学指导帮助每一位学生找到自己人生的方向，找到合适自己的人生目标，同时又提供给学生无限的可能和机会。从来不会局限学生的梦想，反而帮助我们生根发芽。感谢他们的默默付出，才成就了今天的我们，才让我们握住梦校的offer，才能够成为自己想要成为的人。

最后一个挑战来自未来。我们将要出国留学，在一个全新又陌生的环境下度过四年时光。没有人陪伴着我们，我们是自己人生的舵手。我希望所有人都能够有一个美好的大学生活。在异国他乡，请永远不忘初心，砥砺前行，记得来到的目的，以及你所肩负的责任。

最后，各位学弟学妹们，你们都是优秀的学生，都是令人骄傲的后浪，有这美好的前景，努力提升自己，你们的成功绝非是偶然。

再次感谢老师们对我们的无私付出，你们包容了我们的无知，引导我们长大成人。感谢学校为了我们所做出的努力，祝法拉古特创造金色辉煌，谱写绚丽华章。

李元亨同学毕业致辞

The reason that sharks live in the ocean is that they needs the vast space and opportunity to fulfill their talent, the nutrient in the sea will ensure that sharks remain kings. When I first arrived at AFA, I was nervous and unsure about what my future would hold and what kind of high school experience I wanted. Looking back on my time here, I am thankful for all of the guidance I received from my teachers, administrators, classmates, and everyone else who shaped me into the young man I am today. The way I see it I have mastered the skills that I need to be crowned “king” in my own life.

My time in the classroom helped me develop some key skills and a curiosity that will take me far. I have learned some of the most useful and important writing skills that I will need for my college career. Big shout out to Emberley, who has been so dedicated and helpful for all the time I was here. I have also received a sufficient amount of knowledge in the Science although eventually I will not be pursuing science as my future goal. I am confident that I have the basic academic foundation to do well in college as I explore what the Social Science majors have to offer.

In addition to academic knowledge and skills, I have developed my social skills and E.Q. as well. Tolerance, understanding, problem-solving, cultural differences, empathy and love; these are the things that will allow me to not just study abroad but thrive – to get along with others, make lifelong friendships, and adapt to a new way of life. After all, I’m not just going to America to get a diploma – I’m going to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience and my time at AFA has really helped to prepare me for a new environment.

I have put in so much effort to get myself where I am now. There are many factors that eventually shaped me into the man I am now, speaking to all of you on this stage. This process is not only about me! I want to show everybody that each one of us, has our potential and value. Do not ever look down on yourself. Trust yourself, set your goal, and and do your best _there are all you have to do. Of Crouse, life won’t go easy on you, whenever there is an obstacle that is dragging you down. Remember this, what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. Be true to yourself, don’t try to be someone else, don’t try to replicate anyone because you can’t.It’s like Oscar Wilde once said: “Be yourself; everyone else is taken.”. If you like something, do it, but do it right. If you wanna be something, be it, but be the best. Nothing can ever limit you, only minds limit a man. Therefore, for whoever that need this advice, speak up, start action, put effort and stand out! Be true, be determined, be faithful and believe.

Before I leave this stage, I must once again express gratitude to all of our teachers, administrators, and classmates for the knowledge and character building that we couldn’t have received anywhere else. And most importantly, my appreciation to my parents, all these years of hard work, efforts, laughter and tears. It’s always them that stood right behind me, supporting me when I need the help and encouraging me when I was at my most desperate time. I couldn’t possibly achieve any of these without you, thank you for being so supportive and showing me your unconditional love. I have a clear idea of the kind of future that I want, one filled with challenging goals and bold adventure, and this high school experience – though not always perfect – was perfect for helping me reach my next chapter. Thank you all and I look forward to our continued successes together – congratulations to myself and the entire graduating class of 2021. Hoo-hah

马睦芝同学毕业致辞

Hello大家好，我是法拉古特中加班的毕业生Gloria。我非常荣幸能作为中加班的毕业生代表在这里发言。首先感谢法拉古特给我们提供一个全面发展的平台，让我们用三年的时间都成长为一个更好的自己。Farragut offers us not only an access to overseas study but an invaluable opportunity to grow up in a well-rounded manner.

得益于法拉古特这样一个好的平台，我今年二月份拿到了加拿大排名的多大商学院罗德曼商学院的录取通知书。自从我选择法拉古特中加班以来，罗德曼就一直是我的目标。能有这样一个圆满的申请结果，我最要感谢的就是我申请安生本地学校的优势。并且OSSD课程这种自由的选课机制是非常有利于学生精准的纵向发展的。OSSD课程分为两部分，40%的必修课和60%选修课。必修课为我们拓宽知识面并打下一个坚实的知识基础，这些可就是帮我们获得general knowledge的部分。剩下60%的选修课给了我们足够的空间去钻研自己未来的专业领域，允许我们有针对性的选课。这让我们在真正感兴趣领域逐渐成为专家。另外，在选课方面，中加班的老师会根据我们感兴趣的专业并结合大学相关专业的要求给出最合理的选课方案，这就程度上提高了我们的时间利用率。在此之上我们就有足够的额时间和精力去参加对标专业的课外活动来提升领导力、沟通能力等软实力。同时法拉古特中加班也为我们提供丰富的社团活动、学术研究项目、各科各类竞赛、峰会等活动机会。在这样一个完善的教育体系下，我的体会就是我的时间得到了最程度的优化和利用。

作为一个国际学生，除了考上梦校，快速适应留学生活也是一个重要课题。在11年级，我通过法拉古特中加班，到了多伦多读书。这给了我提升语言能力以及提前适应国外生活的机会。在一个native的环境下，我的标化考试也得到了很⼤的提升。另外，在加拿大的独立生活也提升了我时间管理和社交的能力，让我真正地做到了study-life balance。

因此，法拉古特中加班这个项⽬带给我的除了梦校的offer，更重要的是成长。Apparently, this incredible learning experience pushes me to take new challenges. It shapes me into an independent person, an ambitious thinker and a go-getter.

最后，我要再次感谢法耀集团的所有老师和同学。感谢杨校长带领这样杰出的领导班子，不断地为我们提供更完善、更多元化的留学渠道和平台；感谢吴主任在我择校的时候把我带进了法拉古特，给了我考进梦校的机会；感谢法拉古特中加班的范校长和焦老师，在加拿大留学这个方向上不断地给我最权威的建议和指导；感谢高主任带领的专业的留学规划团队，感谢胡老师和马老师在写作和面试上指导我，充分地向我的梦校展示出了我的一面。感谢我的同学们这三年一直和我互帮互助，良性竞争，也祝贺大家今年都拿到了梦校的offer。希望我的学弟学妹们都能好好利用法拉古特这个优秀的平台提供的优质资源，努力从各方面提升自己，预祝大家都能考上自己理想的学校，谢谢大家！

尊敬的各位领导，亲爱的老师们、同学们:

大家好!我是A-LEVEL中心A2班学生吕上，今天非常荣幸的作为2021届毕业生代表站在这里发言。今天，我们就要毕业了，转眼就要和母校话别。三年时光，一千多个日日夜夜，弹指之间，就这样匆匆流逝，承载着我们太多的回忆与最初的梦想。

首先请允许我代表全体毕业生感谢我们的母校和老师，感谢您们这三年来的悉心教导和精心培养!还记得各位老师在课堂上或滔滔不绝，或循循善诱，透过您们讲解的一个个生动有趣的知识点，我们理解了各个学科的美妙之处。您们不仅是良师，更是益友，在课余时间与我们一起度过了许多快乐的时光，在我们有烦恼时也会侧耳倾听。是您们，教会我们如何面对成长过程中的难题；是您们，一次又一次包容我们的过错；是您们，让我们一直追逐自己的梦想。

回首三年在A-LEVEL的生活，我很荣幸有我的同学们相伴。从次相见时彼此间的生疏，到今天的无话不说，我们一起度过了一段无与伦比的高中时光。你我一定记得篮球赛上的挥洒汗水，一定记得运动会的咬牙拼搏，一定不会忘记万圣节活动的追逐嬉戏，一定不会忘记考场外的互相鼓励。因为你们的陪伴，让我的高中生活无比充实快乐，成为我生命中最难忘的岁月。

最后我想感谢一下我的父母，别人口中最“心大”的父母，是您们鼓励我去自由地选择，选择了A-level，选择了未来的专业，选择了想去的学校。虽然也时常有矛盾，但矛盾过后，最关心我的仍然是您们，是您们给了我不断前行的力量。

元亨妈妈演讲稿

各位老师，亲爱的同学及家长们：

大家早上好! 我是12年级2班李元亨的家长，非常感谢法拉古特给我这样一个表达自己心声的机会。作为一名家长，能参加孩子高中毕业的盛典，是我期盼已久的一件事情，因为这对于孩子们来讲是一个跨时段的重要时刻，代表了孩子们即将告别童年和青少年时段正式迈向了成人的世界，这意味着独立与责任的开始。能够站在这里，见证这重要的一刻，我感到非常幸福。在此，我仅代表本届毕业生的家长向圆满完成高中学业、即将奔赴高等学府深造的孩子们表示衷心的祝贺。向辛勤培育学生成长的老师们表示崇高的敬意和诚挚的感谢。也向在座的各位爸爸妈妈道一声：恭喜！

孩子们，你们高中入学时的情景还历历在目，三年时光荏苒，转眼间你们即将挥别母校踏上人生中一段新的征程。路漫漫其修远兮，望珍重！愿你们在异国他乡，安全与健康，学业第二，顺带每一个人都能收获圆满的爱情。

我由衷的感谢学校给孩子们举办了这么隆重的毕业典礼，邀请所有的家长一起见证和分享孩子们人生中这一重要的时刻。此刻，最想感谢的是所有老师们以及所有的后勤支持团队，感谢你们对孩子们的悉心关爱与谆谆教诲。这三年来，除了父母你们是陪伴孩子最久、用情最深的人。感谢你们为孩子们提供了这样一个既有优良的硬件设施又非常有爱和追求自我超越的卓越空间；谢谢你们给与了孩子们的包容与尊重，作为一个人的尊重以及对于每一个独立个体独特性的尊重。你们专业、敬业；温暖而又耐心，过硬的知识与经验帮助孩子们顺利拿下了一个又一个名校Offer，实现了自己的名校理想。你们通过言传身教实现了“传道、授业、解惑”，是当之无愧的“师者”。

“感谢大家三年的支持，对我的信任与支持。有很多话想要对同学们说：马上就要走出国外，希望你们能有好的学习规划，不辜负现在的自己，也不辜负自己的未来。”
